Problem

A luxury watch and accessories dealer sold only through an eBay storefront — no domain, no brand, and every customer handed to a marketplace that owned the relationship, the margin, and the data. The only catalog source was a partial public snapshot: 124 listings observed on a single page, with no stock, variants, galleries, or API access. Nothing could be claimed that the source didn't prove.

System

gwd-elite.store — a Next.js storefront on Neon with direct commerce in place of the marketplace handoff. Every listing photo is copied to the store's own origin; no customer-facing link, metadata, or schema points back to the source. Checkout re-reads server prices, locks the bag, allocates each SKU transactionally, and reconciles signed Stripe events under a row lock so a duplicate event can neither charge nor release stock twice. Customer accounts, guest checkout, and a free-shipping threshold enforced by the same calculation on display and on order creation. An owner workspace with eleven sections — a CMS with draft/published revisions, paid-order reporting, inventory, orders, customers, media — plus two admin agents: a guided restock receipt and an image studio that watermarks and renders gold or silver finishes behind a mandatory visualization label. Ten illustrated journal articles and a lion-crest identity kit. Every release gated on typecheck, lint, token checks, unit and browser tests, and a full live crawl.

Outcome

From a marketplace listing to a canonical domain in two days: 188 routes live with no outbound marketplace links, and the owner's first storefront, admin, and CMS under their own name. Checkout is proven end to end in Stripe test mode and opens the moment the merchant account clears; the site stays unindexed until stock and policies are confirmed. Nothing invented, nothing charged before it should be.
